Jump on the Bandwagon 2.

...Mike throws on the cars headlights to see who it is aproaching. We see it is a middle aged man. He is smartly dressed, except for a pair of wellington boots, and is struggling to walk in the foot deep, squalid flood water.

"Fuck!" he exclaims, "My damn wellies overflowed."

Mike switches off the headlights, and reaches down underneath the front seat.....

suddenly, MIKE realises that there is someone else coming from behind.

CUT TO: a 30something man dressed to the nines with an (oddly out of place) shiny bowling bag.

CUT TO: CU: MIKE looks distressed, his face is breaking out in a sweat...[ ]

Ok the original jump on the bandwagon post is now dead and should be left in peace!!!! but i like this idea so thought i would start another one,

EXT: Side of The Road Night

We see a man in his late twentys leaning against the side of his car. It is obvoius that he has been sleeping in the same clothes for days. THIS IS MIKE. we also notice the lack of traffic going past what should be a busy road.

He lights up a cigarette and in the distance we see a sillouhette walk towards him and .......

L/S

The 30-year old reaches under his long, dark coat whilst walking towards the car.
In his left hand you can see the shing bowling bag glistening in the moonlight and the light from lampposts...

He slowly pulls his arm out from under his coat.

CUT TO:
C/U The side mirror explodes inches from Mikes face...

<CENTER>MIKE</CENTER>
What the fuuuu.....

The rear windscreen explodes as the man with the bowling bag shoots again and again...

[Atramus]

MIKE dives into the front seat of his car. He reaches across to the glove box ducking under the bullets as the front winscreen explodes. He opens the glove box and searches around for something he can attack back with. The only thing he can find is a small bottle of pepper spray.

"God damn it!" he curses

Not knowing what else to do he stomps his foot down on the accelerator. The car flys forward. The is a thud........

mike slams on the accelerator but too hard and we see his head butting into the windscreen. there is a visible crack and blood and we hear Mike scream and swear. he keeps going but then, the guy at the front (Mr Flood guy) in a huge pick up truck heading for Mike.

a game of chicken begin to emerge...

we see MIKE'S face: a mixture of blood and sweat comming down the side of his face like melting ice cream.

we see the middle age Flood Guy, he is cool calm and coldly determined.

the vehicles are getting closer and closer together.

now they are metres apart.

at the last possible instance, MIKE is the chicken and drives past the pick up truck and onto the highway.

the pick-up turns around and chases MIKE's car. NOW a highway case emerges...

Enter a HELICOPTER to make things look cool.
The bright search light pierces out of the darkenss.
CUT TO: shot of the helicopter from Mikes rear windscreen. It is gaining.

Mike sees this in his mirror and pushes his foot down harder.
It is now on the floor.

C/U The speedo. It crawls towards 90MPH, 100MPH.

<CENTER>MIKE</CENTER>
Shit! I can't lose it!...

Mike's concentration is suddenly shattered as the pick up truch smashes into his cars side...

INT:Helicopter

we see the pilot fly over the chaos below, he is wearing some sort of uniform though it is neither reconisable as a police or Army clothing.

Looks like a couple of kids trying to kill themselves, hopefully that means the food queue going to be shorter tommorow?.. anyway

The pilot is about to pull the controls back and fly away when he gets a message on his headphones...

Make sure they don't survive!
The food queue is too long, and we are short of good flesh.

The Pilot nods understandingly and flips up the ARM button on the dashboard.

A viewscreen flips down infront of the pilot, and we can see a crosshair atrgeted on Mikes car.

The pilot fires...
